Never leave your iPad in a hot car or any similar environment. The intense heat saps devices of battery power. Exposing it to extreme heat and light can affect the battery’s ability to hold a charge for long periods. This type of damage is not covered in your warranty, making this a pricey mistake.
Your iPad will not charge through a USB port unless you have a high power port. High power ports are usually found in the back of a desktop computer and most laptops do not have one. This also means that USB docks will not charge your iPad unless you own a powered dock.
Open new webpages using a new tab to keep your current webpage open. While in Safari, hold the link and a pop-up menu appears. This menu gives you the option that will allow you to open a new link.
Be careful with your iPad at the beach. Sand is a pretty dangerous thing for an iPad. Not only can it get caught in the little crevices of the device, it can also easily scratch your screen where few other things can.
